Abstract - The results of operation of nuclear power stations in Russia in 1993 are summed up with respect to their technical and economic indices. The installed capacity, utilization factors, total number of disruptions in operation of nuclear power stations(NPSs), and data on operation of the emergency protection of the power units at NPSs are presented. The severity of disruption is classified on the seven-point international scale of nuclear events that is in force in the activities of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Data is also presented on exposure of the personnel to radiation and on gaseous emissions at NPSs.
